Meet Natalie
Holistic Nutritionist & Client Support
Natalie is one of the longest-standing members of the Balanced Hair team and an integral part of the support our clients receive.
As a holistic nutritionist, Natalie helps clients explore how nutrition, lifestyle, scalp health and overall wellness may connect to what they are experiencing with their hair. She plays a major role in our Reclaim programming, helping us continue to grow and refine the support we provide while keeping the client experience thoughtful, organized and streamlined.
Although Natalie works remotely and you may not see her in the studio very often, her impact is felt everywhere.
Behind the scenes, she is also our financial and organizational powerhouse. From client support and scheduling to bills, numbers and keeping the back end of the business in check, if it involves money or organization, Natalie is usually somewhere in the middle of it.
She is also very much the mother hen of the team, especially when it comes to keeping Melissa on track, asking the right questions and making sure nothing important falls through the cracks.
We are incredibly grateful for everything Natalie brings to Balanced Hair. She plays a huge part in keeping the ship together, and we are very lucky to have her.
Meet Melissa
Founder & Hair Loss + Hair Extension Specialist
Melissa is the founder and creative force behind Balanced Hair Extensions. Her work is built around one core belief: the right hair solution starts with understanding the person in the chair, not simply selling them a product.
Specializing in hair loss support, extensions, toppers, halos, custom hair pieces and scalp-focused services, Melissa works with clients to find solutions that make sense for their hair, lifestyle, comfort and long-term goals. Sometimes that means a full transformation. Sometimes it means a smaller adjustment, more education, or even being honest when another option or referral is the better fit.
Melissa is deeply involved in the development of Balanced Hair’s services, education, products and Reclaim programming. She is constantly looking for better ways to combine artistry, technical knowledge and practical support so clients have more options and more clarity.
Her goal has never been to make everyone look the same. It is to help people find hair solutions that feel natural, wearable and like themselves again.
Meet Lee
Creative Operations, Automations & Client Support
Lee is the newest member of the Balanced Hair team.
Lee is equal parts creative force, problem-solver, and behind-the-scenes genius. With a background in marketing, fashion design, and art, she brings a seriously unique eye to everything she touches. She is also the brains behind many of the automations and systems that keep things running more smoothly around here, while somehow managing to keep up with all of Melissa’s ADHD-fuelled ideas along the way.
This September, Lee will be heading to school to expand her skills in creative hairstyling. As she continues to grow, she’ll be supporting our hair loss programs, extension services, creative styling, and client experience.
Beyond everything she brings professionally, Lee has an incredibly warm, welcoming presence that makes people feel comfortable the moment they meet her.
We are so grateful to have her on our team and very excited for everything she is going to bring to Balanced Hair.
